Did Google Instant Previews are Gone !!!...

Google added green color arrow to preview the webpage on right side of the title.

Yesterday we had observed that Google has changed its Instant preview feature in SERP (Search Engine Results Page). Now it has new option on right side of every result. New option is "Cached".

Actually this Instant preview had launched by Google on November 2010. It said that only 5% of people are satisfied with the results their click. It also said that most of the people are not using this Instant preview feature.

Google’s Jessica from the forums said:

As we’ve streamlined the results page, we’ve had to remove certain features, such as Instant Previews.

Instant previews saw very low usage by our users, and we’ve decided to focus on streamlining the page to benefit more users.

I can clearly say that this ne Instant feature may be followed by Bing.

What do you think?...

New Facebook Gets More Closer to You with Smilies

Facebook plans to introduce a new option for you mood and emotions.

It states that you can share and feel more with your friends in coming days.

Facebook began testing the new sharing options in January, but only released screenshots. Now it appears the feature has been given to a much wider audience. It’s likely the beginning of a global or at least US or English language rollout.

Most mentions I’ve seen of the feature have been from the US, and many note the similarity to an old Myspace mood sharing option.

The button lets you select to share what you’re feeling, watching, reading, listening to, drinking, or eating. Each brings up a sub-menu of emotions, media, or nourishment.

You can add an extra description if you want, and when you share the post will have “is feeling comfortable” with an emoticon or “watching Game Of Thrones” with an image and link to a piece of content’s Page at the end of your story.

List of Google Eastern Eggs....(Google Tricks)

Easter eggs

Google Eastern Eggs
“Wikipedia states that a virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke, or a feature in work such as a computer software program, webpage, crossword, movie etc.”

An animated, rotating graph of a 3D easter egg

A barrel roll is an airplane maneuver where the pilot executes a complete 360 degree roll while continuing to fly forward at a consistent altitude. Google took a bit of poetic license with “spinning” the result page through a 360 degree loop.

Gravity

This result would give the gravity effect on your Google Home Page. All your icons and bars would fall down due to no-gravity. You can also search information in it. Watch more fun by searching with your images or your favorite images.

Google Water

Did you see anything in floating water? Hong Kong people had developed a code, such that you can see Google on floating water. The results also will float on water.
A real mathematician can perform the equation, here we can create the equation for sin and cos degrees. You may notice valentine image like.

Serach "sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5" in google
Search for “binary” in google, then the number of results found is displayed as a binary number format, instead of traditional decimal count. Try the search with other number systems such as “hexadecimal” and “octal” and you’ll see similar results.

Zerg Rush

As we are familiar with this one. A “zerg rush” is a tactic originated in the video game Starcraft that involves swarming a low-level or poorly equipped group against an opposing group in the hope that sheer numbers will overwhelm the enemy.

Search for zerg rush and you’ll trigger a simplified example of a zerg rush using a swarm of “O’s”, ending up with the traditional “GG” (meaning “good game”). Tip: Clicking an “O” three times kills it.

Recursion

As the name suggests that recursion, if you search as recursion in google, it again displays the same word with suggestion. As a logical next step, Google asks, “Did you mean: recursion?”

Google Restarts its Blocked Sites Feature by Chrome Extension

Blocked Sites Feature

Nearly from 1 year ago blocked sites feature is  not in online, Google officially declared that they are discontinued this feature.

Blocked Feature in Google Search
Google had introduced this blocked sites feature in March 2011, after struggling with the ways to allow people to block sites from showing in the search results. Google has tried some browser extensions, Search Wiki and several other methods over the year.

By using Chrome extension or maybe some unofficial extensions for Firefox or Chrome only we can block the search results in Google.

The blocked sites feature is released in March 2011. You can notice Block all www.abc.com results below the url in results. By clicking on that link, you can block those pages or sites appearing in future on your system.

At that time, Google said that it was adding the feature to searchers for more control.

This feature is added to satisfy the user to get more unique and relevant results. If the user dis-satisfy, he can block the results of a particular domain. A part from this after getting the list of blocked sites feature from chrome extension, Google may reduce the priority of the blocked sites list. It consider as these are the sites which are dis-satisfied or unrelated results displaying on SERP.
